Seaplane Operations

Sustainable and safe seaplane operations require knowledge of both aviation and boating rules in the waterways and areas operators are using.

The SPAA has developed an extensive network of local knowledge through decades of contribution of members. This knowledge is available to all seaplane operators and we encourage you to contact us prior to operating in a waterway you're unfamiliar with.

Due to a mapping supplier to this website going out of business (Frappr.com) this facility is currently not active. We intend to revive it once we've established a new mapping facility

It is vital that all seaplane operators are aware of their responsibilities and the consequences of their actions. These are outlined in the Seaplane Code of Conduct (see Home page).
